Making history is something that Chelsea Football Club does overnight after thrashing Burnley 4-2 at their home ground at Turf More on Saturday.
In what seemed to be a downfall for the Blues after being handed a transfer ban for two windows, it has become a blessing in disguise as the team looks to be improving more than expected under new head coach Frank Lampard.
The summer signing Christian Pulisic from the German giants Borrusia Dortmund scored his first goal for his new club which resulted to a hat-trick.
Before the Burnley match, Tammy Abraham the number 9 of Chelsea was holding the record of the youngest Chelsea player to score 3 goals in a single match and his counterpart Pulisic broke the record shortly after he was granted his first Premier League start by coach Frank Lampard.
Now the London team holds the Premier League record of two players under the age of 21 to score a hat-trick in a single campaign. They have now won their last 4 Premier League games following a bad start of the campaign and 7 in a row in all competition.
The Blues were considered as a team that will struggle following the departure of star man Eden Hazard to Real Madrid last transfer window. They are currently sitting at number 4 in the league standings with 20 points in 10 PL games.
