EFF deputy president slams news anchor for being bias

EFF Deputy Mbuyiseni Ndlozi

In an interview call with the South African Broadcast Corporation (SABC) news anchor Stephen Grootes, Dr Mbuyiseni Ndlozi slams the anchor for focusing on irrelevant issues on Tuesday evening.

The Economic Freedom Fighter deputy demanded that Sunday World must release the recordings and he called upon Minister Gwede Mantashe to reveal the names of the journalists he paid to 'bury' the story during during the interview.

Ndlozi said that the Mineral Resources and Energy minister Mantashe must step down on his current position.

Stephen Grootes asked him a question related to the Venda Building Society (VBS) allegations against EFF leader Julius Malema if it is suitable for him to follow the same protocol as he wishes for Gwede Mantashe.

In response, Dr Ndlozi was angered by the question and he said, "Today's call is to talk about Mantashe. I see that on many occasions we spent 60% of the time talking about EFF, I see what you are trying to do and it wont work."

Grootes further replied with a question asking him if he is suggesting what the SABC should concentrate on, the man in red answered "I am telling you what I think about the direction of this interview, I am aware of the intentions of this interview. I am exposing it for what it is, what you do next is up to you. You cannot tell me what to say or criticize what you are doing".

He further claimed that the intentions of the call were diverted to change focus of the current state that the minister is facing.
