The cars were spotted arriving at the king's place on Tuesday. It is not very clear how many cars were purchased.
The king has more than 13 wives and his net worth is over US$50 million according to Forbes. He is one of the wealthiest royals in the world.
In a country dominated by poor citizens, some people may not take this as a glamorous event to be celebrated as they see it as money wastage instead of helping the country strengthen its economy and improve the lives of their people.
The King receives large money annually that ranges to R750 million from the government.
