South African Airways in tight corner as the strike is looming and forced to cancel most of its domestic and international flights.
A statement was released on Wednesday evening notifying that only flights that will be operating in the next two days would be the returning flights to South Africa from international destinations.
SAA will possibly lose over R50 million in the hands of the upcoming strike.
The statement further stated that flights might possibly resume their standard procedures on Sunday depending on the magnitude of the strike.
In a media announcement made earlier this week, SAA confirmed that, in order to save the airline from complete operational and financial collapse, a restructuring strategy would be embarked upon in early 2020.
Travelers are urged to consider other flight options as the matter is still intact.
