Swiss tourist killed by giraffe in Kruger National Park

A Swiss tourist succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday after a giraffe fell on their safari vehicle on Sunday.

According to South African National Parks spokesperson Ike Phaahla, the taxi hit the giraffe and it fell on top of the safari vehicle which was following the taxi.

The vehicle was carrying two Swiss tourist when a taxi hit the giraffe and fell on their vehicle causing critical damages.

Two people in the taxi suffered minor injuries while the second tourist was taken to the hospital.
